Seeding

If you want to start in the right group in the wave start, you can seed yourself. Here are the rules that apply to seeding for the TCS Lidingöloppet and the Rosa Bandet-loppet (The Pink Ribbon Race).

Seeding

Automatic seeding is based on the results of the last three years in the TCS Lidingöloppet, Rosa Bandet-loppet (The Pink Ribbon Race) and @Hemma. If the registration is made without previous TCS Lidingöloppet results and without specifying another seeding result that is not older than three years, the runner is automatically placed in an unseeded starting group.

Seeding takes place according to space in the right starting group. If a wave is full, you will be placed in the closest group possible.

Update your seeding results

Update your seeding results free of charge via My Pages until the Thursday before the race weekend. Reseeding during the race weekend (Friday–Sunday) subject to availability at a cost of SEK 300. The race result you wish to use as a qualification time shall not be older than 3 years. Qualification information that has not been stated correctly will not be taken into consideration. This means automatic placement in the last start wave.

For seeding for the TCS Lidingöloppet 30 km and 15 km, seeding of at least 10 km applies.
For seeding for the Rosa Bandet-loppet (The Pink Ribbon Race) 10 km, seeding of at least 5 km applies.

Please note that the automatic seeding only applies on the same distances. If you are entering TCS Lidingöloppet 30, and your qualifying time is from TCS Lidingöloppet 15, you have to state this in your entry.

If your result from two years ago is better than last year's event, please state that you wish to use your older result.
