You must be at least 18 years old to register. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have the guardian's approval in order to enter into an agreement with the Association.

What is personal data?
Personal data is any kind of information that can identify a physical person. This can be information such as name, telephone number, social security number, address, e-mail address, pictures or videos.

Where do we get the personal data from?
Lidingöloppet has received the data from you as a physical person when you have given consent (before 25 May 2018) or when you have given consent for a declaration of interest, registration for races or registration for events organized by Lidingöloppet (after 25 May 2018).
Why do we collect the personal data?
- Identification and age control
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information
- Ensure that you have registered and paid for your starting place.
- Make it possible for you to get your personal registration and results history.
- Determine and publish registration and result lists for all participants before, during and after the races.
- Able to convey prizes to winners of these either via placement in results or via raffle.
- To be able to make a correct starting group seeding in the races that have this.
- Able to produce, for example, correct equipment for participants in the races, such as number plates.
- Possibility to contact you or a relative before, during and after the race (e.g. through evaluations).
- To offer personal service with e.g. photography, results and insurance.
- Be able to send the participant's personal orders such as photos, diplomas, Folksam's sports race insurance or Folksam's sports race insurance Large.
- Nationality is collected so that we can distinguish who needs to fill in a Swedish social security number, as well as to be able to keep statistics on the number of participating countries.
- Social security number/age, gender, city are collected in order to be able to keep correct statistics from the various races.
- Gender is collected because we have a women-only race.
- Being able to communicate with the participants participating in a race, before or after a race.
- To be able to market our races, events, products and services.
- Our customer service must be able to communicate with the customer and answer questions via telephone, e-mail or other channels (e.g. social media).
- Be able to make an identification.
- Develop our services more user-friendly and improve services such as website, events, products and offers.
- To prevent, avoid and investigate misuse of a service.
The basics are legitimate interest, balance of interests, fulfillment of purchase agreements and public interest. The processing is necessary to serve your and our interest in managing and administering your participation and to be able to satisfy our interest in being able to market our events and services.
Which are Lidingöloppets registers?
Runner database
Order processing, basic data for newsletters, notifications and result lists.
Category of personal data
Name, address, gender, social security number, races, events, race and event statistics, previous results, payment information, contact details for next of kin, team membership, club membership, any notes from the participant.
Purpose
Manage participant registrations, merge a participant with its previous statistics and/or create new statistics.
Legal basis
Via consent from the participant. Completion of purchase agreement. Legitimate interest that is necessary for participants to be able to participate and for Lidingöloppet to be able to carry out events and competitions.
Storage
Lidingöloppet stores the data in accordance with the accounting law.
Photography and filming
Category of personal data
Photos and moving image
Purpose
Promote our races and events via website, advertisements, social media, newspaper articles, via partners advertising for races or events.
Legal basis
Balance of interests. General interest
Storage
Lidingöloppet saves pictures and video recordings from the races.
Printed material
Categories of personal data
Name, Postcode, City, Country, Gender, ID according to Lidingöloppet's runner database, pictures, year of birth.
Purpose
Inform, market our races, events, products and services via Invitation, Start Certificate, magazines.
Legal basis
The registered person has given consent at the time of notification, legitimate interest and general interest.
Storage
Lidingöloppet's supplier prints information, addresses and sends postal items according to the address information provided upon consent.
Digital mailings
Categories of personal data
Email address, Name, Year of birth, Postal code, City, Country, Gender
Purpose
Such as newsletters, competition information. Inform, promote our races, events, products and services.
In order to be able to offer information that we think is interesting to you, Lidingöloppet's partners in some cases have the opportunity to dispose of Lidingöloppet's address register via Lidingöloppet. Lidingöloppet does not share information with our partners or sponsors. Sponsors and partners to the Lidingö race may send offers via Lidingöloppet. It is possible to choose to Unsubscribe in mailings.
Legal basis
The registered person has given consent when registering. Legitimate interest and general interest.
Storage
Lidingöloppet updates the information and removes information older than 3 years after receiving consent to the above Runner Database.
Customer surveys, Questback
Categories of personal data
Email address, Name, participating event, start number, gender, and other information relevant to the event.
Purpose
Collect feedback from the runners to improve Lidingöloppets various arrangements.
Legal basis
The registered person has given consent when registering.
Storage
Lidingöloppet continuously updates the register in the form of de-identification.

Enervit
Categories of personal data
Race, date of birth (YYMMDD), name, address, nationality, payment date, race, product type.
Purpose
Lidingöloppet sets up registers with personal data of the participants who have chosen to buy an Enervit package. These records are sent to Enervit to report who bought the product. Enervit in turn contacts the buyer to fulfill its part of the buyer's purchase agreement for the product.
Legal basis
To complete the participant's purchase of the supplier's product. The registered person has entered into an agreement when purchasing the product.
Storage
The data is stored at Lidingöloppet in accordance with the rules of the accounting law. Enervit saves the data until after the current year's race. It is then deleted.
Folksam sports race insurance and Folksam sports race insurance Stor
Categories of personal data
Social security number, name, address, nationality, payment date, race, product type.
Purpose
Lidingöloppet establishes registers with personal data of the participants who have chosen to purchase Folksam's sport race insurance and Folksam's motion race insurance Stor. These registers are sent to Folksam to report who bought the insurance.
Legal basis
The registered person has entered into an agreement when purchasing the product.
Storage
The register is kept by Lidingöloppet in accordance with the accounting law.
Who can access my personal data?
In order to provide services to you as a participant, such as newsletters, photography, film, start certificate, the insurance Folksam sport race insurance or Folksam sport race insurance Stor, Enervit package and make your registration and time registration searchable, we use subcontractors. Lidingöloppet is the personal data controller for your personal data, which means that we sign a Personal Data Protection Agreement with our subcontractors. The agreement specifies how they may process your personal data. They do not have the right to disseminate the data and are to delete the data when they are no longer needed for the assignment. Lidingöloppet neither sells, gives out nor shares the data to unauthorized parties.

How long do we store your personal data?
Your personal data is saved by us during the time that you are a participant with us as well as the time required by the accounting law in order for us to be able to fulfill legal obligations as required by the accounting law. Information older than 3 years is not used for marketing purposes. A high level of security is always observed in all handling of personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, supplemented, or if you wish, to have it deleted. If you choose to delete all your data, all previous race statistics and race history will be deleted. Read below about your rights.
Right to access
You have the right to request access to your data, a register extract. If we receive a request for a record extract, we may ask for additional information, if this is required to fulfill the request. This is to ensure that the identity of the person sending a request matches the participant for whom the register extract was requested. This is so that we hand over the data to the right person. The request is sent by emailing the request to info@lidingoloppet.se. We will get back to you with an answer by email within 30 days of the request.
Right to correction and completion
You always have the right to request that your personal data be corrected if the data is incorrect or to complete any incomplete personal data. If we receive a request for correction or addition, we will ask counter-questions to ensure that the identity is the same as the participant where correction or addition was requested.
Right to delete and withdraw consent
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data that we process. If you choose to delete all your data, all previous race statistics and race history from all the events organized by Lidingöloppet will be deleted.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, you unfortunately cannot register for the event you chose when you gave your consent.
There may be reasons for us not being able to accommodate your request for deletion. This if there are legal obligations that prevent us from implementing it. It may be to fulfill a legal obligation that we are subject to, e.g. according to the accounting law, if the information is needed to exercise our right to freedom of expression and information, or to be able to establish, enforce or defend legal claims.
Right to limitation
You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You can then e.g. object to direct marketing and profiling for direct marketing purposes to you. If you object to direct marketing, we will cease all direct marketing and profiling to you. You can choose to be de-identified (participant Anonymous) in our public lists such as Registered participants and Results lists. For these requests, please contact the Lidingöloppet office.

At Lidingöloppet we reserve the right to update our Privacy Policy. This is because we are developing our races, events, services and products and thus need to have a Privacy Policy that is consistent with new races, events, services and products. Sometimes there are also changes and clarifications in legislation, which results in processes and systems needing to be developed or changed. Changes to the Privacy Policy are announced on this page.
Sharing your data with authorities
Lidingöloppet may, if there is a legal basis for it, be obliged to disclose your personal data to government authorities such as the police and the tax authorities.
Complaint
If you believe that we are processing your personal data in violation of the current data protection regulation, you should report this to us as soon as possible. You can also submit a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority Datainspektionen http://www.datainspektionen.se.
