Start time for 2025

Lidingöloppet invites you to the Lidingöloppet in Funäsfjällen. Here is everything you need to know about the race. (The race instructions for 2026 will be provided later)

NOTE! Steel studs are not allowed for running. Checks will be made at the start.

Lap times
Maximum lap time for the 30 km course. 20 km must be passed before 13:30 (3.5 hours).

Little Lidingöloppet in Funäsfjällen
The Lidingöloppet in Funäsfjällen is organizing a children's race with an obstacle course in Bruksvallarna, registration is available on the website or on-site. Ages 0-10.

Bib distribution:


Bib distribution will take place on Friday at the Sport Center in Bruksvallarna between 09:30-20:00. On the race day, Saturday, you can pick up your bib from 08:00-09:15. Please arrive early as there may be a queue at the bib distribution. Changing the name of an already registered runner costs 200 SEK and needs to be done at least 60 minutes before the start.

Late registration:

Registration is done through the Lidingöloppet website. Sign up as usual and pick up your bib on site in Bruksvallarna (see times above under "Bib distribution"). An additional fee of 100 SEK will be charged for registration on the day of the race (Saturday).

In connection with your registration, you agree to your name being recorded and published in start and result lists, including on the website. Photos taken during the event may be used in advertisements and on our website. If you do not agree to this, please contact the Lidingöloppet office at the email address info@lidingoloppet.se or by phone at 08-765 26 15 (the switchboard is open on Wednesdays from 09:00 to 11:00).

Class change:

Baggage drop:

We do not accept luggage drop-off as most guests stay at nearby hotels. We do not accept computers or other electronics.

Course marking:
Yellow/red ribbons mark the entire course. There are also spray arrows on the road and road signs. Pay attention to the course markings, as you may not always have the back of another runner to follow. Officials will be present at difficult positions.

Changeover:

Before and after the race, there are indoor changing facilities at the Ski Stadium in Bruksvallarna with showers and toilets. Toilets are available in the changing rooms as well as in the arena.

Food:

Food and beverages are available for purchase at the start/finish area of the ski stadium. The restaurant Brasserie Kerstin is also open, as is Hotell Bruksvallsliden, both of which are a few minutes' walk from the start/finish area.

Liquid:

Water and Sports Drink from Umara at the start/finish (Ski Stadium Bruksvallarna)

For those of you who run:

10 km - At 5 km and finish

20 km - At 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and the finish line

30 km - At 5 km, 15 km, 20 km, 25 km, and finish

No disposable items will be used at the hydration stations during the race. Instead, participants will bring a cup from CoXa, which will be used multiple times at the hydration stations throughout the race.

Broken race:


Should be communicated to the official on the track or at the finish line (Information tent).

First Aid:
First aid will be available at the start/finish line.

Results:
Can be found on our website. The results become official and are fully confirmed one week after the race.

Prices:

The award ceremony will be announced over the loudspeaker and will take place at the Ski Stadium in Bruksvallarna at 2:30 PM.

Prizes for placement 1-3 for the women's and men's classes. All participants will receive a Swedish-made medal at the finish line.

Raffle prizes from Saucony, Swix, and CoXa Carry will be drawn for each category at the prize ceremony.

Other:

We have masseurs on site on Saturday from around 7:30 AM to 4 PM, they work in shifts. 15 minutes massage for 250 SEK, also taping and sales of liniment and kinesiology tape. Drop in or come by to book a time.

Accommodation:

Hotel Bruksvallsliden is located in the heart of the beautiful Bruksvallarna, with just a few minutes' walk to be filled with running activities together with Bruksvallarnas Sportcenter, situated at the hotel.

At Hotel Bruksvallsliden, you can stay comfortably with breakfast or half board at the foot of the mountain. Prices from SEK 695 per person per night (book at least two nights) with breakfast buffet. Or book at least three nights and get a 10% discount.

Bus

The bus Härjedalingen takes you all the way from Stockholm (with several stops) to Funäsdalen. The bus also goes all the way to Bruksvallarna on Friday evening, just a stone's throw from the hotel. See the summer timetable here.
If you are traveling within Jämtland County to us, bus number 164 will take you here.
For those staying at Hotell Bruksvallsliden, we can arrange transportation, please contact the hotel. If you only make it to Funäsdalen (15 km from Bruksvallarna) but no further, we will sort it out, please contact Hotell Bruksvallsliden in that case.

Train

With SJ Resplus, you can travel all the way to Bruksvallarna. Day and night trains go to Östersund or Röjan station, then continue with a bus transfer. If you only make it to Funäsdalen (15 km from Bruksvallarna) but no further, we'll sort it out, so please contact Hotell Bruksvallsliden in that case.

Parking:

If you need to take the car to the race, there will be parking opportunities available, please seek assistance from our parking attendants on site at the Ski Stadium in Bruksvallarna.

Public:

Everyone is welcome to cheer on the runners along the course. At the Ski Stadium, you can see the runners at the start and finish.

Competition Rules:

We follow the Swedish Athletics Association's competition rules. According to these rules, for example, it is explicitly prohibited to have external “pacing” by runners who join in during an ongoing race. However, it is allowed to have a “rabbit” in the race, i.e., a person who is registered and starts at the same time in the race and paces as long as they can. All participation is at your own risk.

NOTE!

It is very important that you follow the instructions of the officials as well as traffic regulations. Certain parts of the course may become slippery and wet in the rain, so be cautious when crossing, for example, rocky outcrops. You are obligated to assist fellow competitors in the event of a serious injury and to report to the nearest official.
