The Lidingöloppet Spring Mile offers one of Stockholm's most beautiful 10k courses and has been organized since 2014. After a significant increase in participation last year (by about 50%), the interest seems to rise even further in 2025. At the time of writing, approximately 700 people are registered - which is 100 more than in 2024.

– The Lidingöloppet Spring Mile is a perfect fresh start for the running season – an opportunity to shake off winter and get back on track. For those aiming for the TCS Lidingöloppet in September, the race is a seeding event, but above all, it's about enjoying running in fantastic nature. We are really looking forward to welcoming runners to an inspiring day filled with energy and the joy of movement, says Krister Svensson, Secretary-General of the Lidingöloppet.

For the Lidingöloppet Spring Mile, participants can choose between 10 km and 5 km distances. The course winds through forest paths in beautiful landscapes, alongside woods, meadows, and archipelago coasts. It is occasionally hilly, but predominantly features soft trails, making the race a gentle start to the running season. The start and finish are at Lidingövallen.

For the little ones, there is also the Toddlers' Spring Mile as an option, which takes place on the running tracks of Lidingövallen. Children up to four years old run just under a lap, and those from five years and up run a bit further.
