Competition information

To accommodate our global running community in preparation for the world's largest cross country race, TCS Lidingöloppet offers the option to qualify for TCS Lidingöloppet's wave starts through digital races. This allows participants to run qualification races whenever and wherever they wish!

This year there is also the opportunity to qualify for the TCS Lidingöloppets wave starts through races organized by other clubs. The races are organized by local sports associations and parts of the registration fee support their activities.

In this seeding table you will find information and times for distances as well as category.
Through this, you will see in which start wave you should end up in, subject to availability.

This is how to register and report your time for your digtial seedning for TCS Lidingöloppet.

Keep in mind that:

1. You will be admitted to the starting area 20 minutes before your start time.
2. Warm-up takes place 10 min-5 min before your start time.
3. Starting in an earlier start group than the one you have been assigned to will lead to automatic disqualification.
4. Starting in a later start group will result in an automatic time increase (10 minutes per delayed start group) from your actual start time. This cannot be appealed.

If you want to start in the right group in the wave start, you can seed yourself. Here are the rules that apply to seeding for the TCS Lidingöloppet and the Rosa Bandet-loppet (The Pink Ribbon Race).

Friend seeding is possible subject to space. This means that you can switch to a later start group than the one you have been assigned to run, for example, with a friend or in a group with a slower pace.

The competiton classes during the TCS Lidingölopept weekend offers prize money to the top runners.

While you run your race, we take care of your clothes and your bag.

You can pick up your number bib and visit our expo at Lidingövallen before and during the TCS Lidingöloppet weekend.

Travel in an environmentally friendly and safe way to TCS Lidingöloppet and Rosa Bandet-loppet (The Pink Ribbon Race)! Lidingöloppet and Löparbussen (The Runner Bus) enhance the overall experience during the running party through bus transports to and from the races.
