Become a volunteer - the best way to support our children and youth and create a good and meaningful leisure time for both young and old.
There are many who want to be involved in the world's largest cross-country race and contribute to our various events. Our most famous race, TCS Lidingöloppet, is a real celebration where our officials and volunteers are JUST as important as our runners!
The Lidingöloppet is owned by IFK Lidingö Ski & Orienteering Club and IFK Lidingö Athletics. Officials from the owner clubs together with a couple of other partner associations from Lidingö form the backbone of all our events.
We are looking for you, young and old, who are interested in contributing to the Lidingöloppet and who are driven by a passion for exercise, health, community, and events. We are seeking individuals with all sorts of skills, both possible and impossible, such as healthcare, transportation, catering, carpentry, IT, etc. You will be part of a large and wonderful team, gain merits for your resume, and experience from having organized a major sports event.
