Lidingöloppet in Funäsfjällen 20 km

With a distance of 20 kilometers, weaving through the beauty of the mountains across Bruksvallarna and finishing at the beautifully located ski stadium, this race is a gem and will be considered by many as one of Sweden's most beautiful courses – with a total of 530 meters of elevation.

The race takes runners through a terrain where flat meadows and gravel roads alternate with sloping paths and steep hills. The first 5 km ascend towards the summit cabin of Kariknallen (1050 meters above sea level) with views over Helags, Sylarna, Skars, and Mittåkläppen. Here, technical mountain running awaits before the runners return to the ski stadium, to then head out on the Pilgrim's Trail downstream of the Ljusnan river.
